Narrative:
Our aircraft, an medium large transport flight left the company gate at dtw. We were given 3C via the inner oscar 6 and foxtrot. On taxiout I did not see J0-6 taxiway sign in time to make my turn. Ground control told us to use next taxiway. There were no other aircraft moving at all. I don't believe any problems or write-ups by the ground controller will occur, but I thought it prudent to write this in light of an earlier incident in dtw. Dtw still needs improvement to taxiway signs, lights and markings.
