Narrative:

4/91: arriving back at home base after a series of flts conducted while standing airport ready crew (arc), I was contacted by schedules at XX15 and requested to take an overnight to gpt departing at XY30. As I still had sufficient duty day left (I had reported for arc early that day), I accepted the assignment and told schedules and the captain. Who had just reported for the gpt flight, that the returning flight the next morning would have to be delayed so that I could get the required 8 hours rest. All agreed and the flight was conducted to gpt, arriving late night. The crew proceeded immediately to our lodgings (10 mins away) and the captain told the crew to meet in the hotel lobby at HR10 the next morning, 4/91, for return to the airport. We met at HR10 and left immediately for the airport, arriving about HR20. As the flight had already been delayed for 20 mins, the normal preflight and loading process was accelerated to get the flight out as soon as possible. After takeoff, the out (pushback) time of HR30 reported to operations by the captain was 3 mins short of the time required (8 + 15) for sufficient crew rest. When later informed by operations that we were 3 mins short of the required time, the captain stated to me that the actual pushback time was probably a little later than the rounded off time of HR30. Regardless, we did show around HR20, which was technically 13 mins shy of the required 8 hours + 15 mins. Corrective action on my part will be to ensure that I add the required 15 mins to the 8 hours crew rest and ensure scrupulous reporting of accurate times to operations. I believe, however, that I did have sufficient rest for the flight.

Narrative: 4/91: ARRIVING BACK AT HOME BASE AFTER A SERIES OF FLTS CONDUCTED WHILE STANDING ARPT READY CREW (ARC), I WAS CONTACTED BY SCHEDULES AT XX15 AND REQUESTED TO TAKE AN OVERNIGHT TO GPT DEPARTING AT XY30. AS I STILL HAD SUFFICIENT DUTY DAY LEFT (I HAD RPTED FOR ARC EARLY THAT DAY), I ACCEPTED THE ASSIGNMENT AND TOLD SCHEDULES AND THE CAPT. WHO HAD JUST RPTED FOR THE GPT FLT, THAT THE RETURNING FLT THE NEXT MORNING WOULD HAVE TO BE DELAYED SO THAT I COULD GET THE REQUIRED 8 HRS REST. ALL AGREED AND THE FLT WAS CONDUCTED TO GPT, ARRIVING LATE NIGHT. THE CREW PROCEEDED IMMEDIATELY TO OUR LODGINGS (10 MINS AWAY) AND THE CAPT TOLD THE CREW TO MEET IN THE HOTEL LOBBY AT HR10 THE NEXT MORNING, 4/91, FOR RETURN TO THE ARPT. WE MET AT HR10 AND LEFT IMMEDIATELY FOR THE ARPT, ARRIVING ABOUT HR20. AS THE FLT HAD ALREADY BEEN DELAYED FOR 20 MINS, THE NORMAL PREFLT AND LOADING PROCESS WAS ACCELERATED TO GET THE FLT OUT ASAP. AFTER TKOF, THE OUT (PUSHBACK) TIME OF HR30 RPTED TO OPS BY THE CAPT WAS 3 MINS SHORT OF THE TIME REQUIRED (8 + 15) FOR SUFFICIENT CREW REST. WHEN LATER INFORMED BY OPS THAT WE WERE 3 MINS SHORT OF THE REQUIRED TIME, THE CAPT STATED TO ME THAT THE ACTUAL PUSHBACK TIME WAS PROBABLY A LITTLE LATER THAN THE ROUNDED OFF TIME OF HR30. REGARDLESS, WE DID SHOW AROUND HR20, WHICH WAS TECHNICALLY 13 MINS SHY OF THE REQUIRED 8 HRS + 15 MINS. CORRECTIVE ACTION ON MY PART WILL BE TO ENSURE THAT I ADD THE REQUIRED 15 MINS TO THE 8 HRS CREW REST AND ENSURE SCRUPULOUS RPTING OF ACCURATE TIMES TO OPS. I BELIEVE, HOWEVER, THAT I DID HAVE SUFFICIENT REST FOR THE FLT.
