Narrative:

Cabin pressure loss at 35000', rapid descent made to 26000' where manual pressure was able to maintain cabin pressure at 5000'. While finishing procedures, air safety inspector gave F/a his identify, wanting to come to the cockpit. Being distracted,I missed turning on the seat belt sign. I also had no idea he was on board. On deplaning, he informed me the seat belt sign was not on. I informed him jokingly that it was his fault, he distracted me during the time we were finishing our procedures.

Title: PRESSURIZATION PROBLEM AT FL350 DICTATED EMERGENCY DESCENT. CAPT ADVISED BY ACI HE FORGOT THE SEAT BELT SIGN.

Narrative: CABIN PRESSURE LOSS AT 35000', RAPID DSNT MADE TO 26000' WHERE MANUAL PRESSURE WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CABIN PRESSURE AT 5000'.
