Narrative:
On takeoff roll out of ewr, the door to the beverage cart came open. From my position at door 2L, it looked as if the cart was coming out. The F/a from 2R went to the cart and I went to assist her and consequently was standing for takeoff. Fortunately, it was only the door and not the whole cart, which could have hurt 1 person trying to stop it.
