Narrative:
Air carrier X on final for runway 04R at 6 DME, tower cleared us to land. Aircraft Y ahead was approximately 2.5-3 mi. The traffic ahead landed and took it to the end of the runway. He did not expedite. At 100 ft AGL I saw that he was clearing the runway and again tower cleared us to land. Upon touchdown tower told us to go around. Since we were already on the ground with spoilers deployed and the engines were at idle, and since we could see that the traffic had cleared, we continued the landing and so notified tower. I thought that tower's 'go around' decision was untimely and compromised safety, especially when he gave us a second clearance to land.

Title: ACR X LANDED ON OCCUPIED RWY HAD LTSS FROM ACFT Y. SYSTEM ERROR.
Narrative: ACR X ON FINAL FOR RWY 04R AT 6 DME, TWR CLRED US TO LAND. ACFT Y AHEAD WAS APPROX 2.5-3 MI. THE TFC AHEAD LANDED AND TOOK IT TO THE END OF THE RWY. HE DID NOT EXPEDITE. AT 100 FT AGL I SAW THAT HE WAS CLRING THE RWY AND AGAIN TWR CLRED US TO LAND. UPON TOUCHDOWN TWR TOLD US TO GAR. SINCE WE WERE ALREADY ON THE GND WITH SPOILERS DEPLOYED AND THE ENGS WERE AT IDLE, AND SINCE WE COULD SEE THAT THE TFC HAD CLRED, WE CONTINUED THE LNDG AND SO NOTIFIED TWR. I THOUGHT THAT TWR'S 'GAR' DECISION WAS UNTIMELY AND COMPROMISED SAFETY, ESPECIALLY WHEN HE GAVE US A SECOND CLRNC TO LAND.
