Narrative:
Asked for gear down. Handle would not extend. Used gear handle jammed up checklist. Required extending gear with emergency handle. Completed checklist and landed with no further difficulties. Maintenance determined that a wiring bundle had probably become lodged in the gear handle mechanism and prevented the handle from moving to the down position.

Title: ACR MLG LNDG GEAR HANDLE PREVENTED FROM OPERATION BY WIRING BUNDLE.
Narrative: ASKED FOR GEAR DOWN. HANDLE WOULD NOT EXTEND. USED GEAR HANDLE JAMMED UP CHKLIST. REQUIRED EXTENDING GEAR WITH EMER HANDLE. COMPLETED CHKLIST AND LANDED WITH NO FURTHER DIFFICULTIES. MAINT DETERMINED THAT A WIRING BUNDLE HAD PROBABLY BECOME LODGED IN THE GEAR HANDLE MECHANISM AND PREVENTED THE HANDLE FROM MOVING TO THE DOWN POS.
