Narrative:
Aircraft departed den apa at approximately XY00 local time. 30 mins later at FL390 in IMC, the entire electrical system to both EFIS systems failed. Both altimeters began spinning in an uncontrollable manner. The autoplt kicked off and the aircraft began a left climbing turn. The only available attitude information came from the emergency peanut gyro. The aircraft was returned to a level position and popped out of the cloud tops at FL410. ZDV was immediately notified of the problem when it occurred. Once the aircraft was leveled and the pilot's system was restored, the center was notified that the aircraft was now at FL410 vs FL390. Center cleared the aircraft to remain at FL410. The aircraft remained on top and made an uneventful landing at the destination 25 mins down the road. The WX at the destination was VFR. The cause was believed to be a possible lightning strike. The aircraft was inspected in accordance with the maintenance manual and all systems were found to be operating normally. ZDV worked with the crew and notified ZAB of the problem when the aircraft was handed off.

Title: CPR JET ACFT HAD ELECTRICAL FLT INSTRUMENT SYSTEM FAIL IN IMC CONDITIONS AT FL390. POPPED OUT OF CLOUDS AND REACTIVATED EFIS.
Narrative: ACFT DEPARTED DEN APA AT APPROX XY00 LCL TIME. 30 MINS LATER AT FL390 IN IMC, THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYS TO BOTH EFIS SYSTEMS FAILED. BOTH ALTIMETERS BEGAN SPINNING IN AN UNCONTROLLABLE MANNER. THE AUTOPLT KICKED OFF AND THE ACFT BEGAN A LEFT CLBING TURN. THE ONLY AVAILABLE ATTITUDE INFO CAME FROM THE EMER PEANUT GYRO. THE ACFT WAS RETURNED TO A LEVEL POS AND POPPED OUT OF THE CLOUD TOPS AT FL410. ZDV WAS IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED OF THE PROB WHEN IT OCCURRED. ONCE THE ACFT WAS LEVELED AND THE PLT'S SYS WAS RESTORED, THE CENTER WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE ACFT WAS NOW AT FL410 VS FL390. CENTER CLRED THE ACFT TO REMAIN AT FL410. THE ACFT REMAINED ON TOP AND MADE AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG AT THE DEST 25 MINS DOWN THE ROAD. THE WX AT THE DEST WAS VFR. THE CAUSE WAS BELIEVED TO BE A POSSIBLE LIGHTNING STRIKE. THE ACFT WAS INSPECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MAINT MANUAL AND ALL SYSTEMS WERE FOUND TO BE OPERATING NORMALLY. ZDV WORKED WITH THE CREW AND NOTIFIED ZAB OF THE PROB WHEN THE ACFT WAS HANDED OFF.
