Narrative:
Flight tues, june, 1991, amsterdam to boston. Our clearance from ams clearance delivery was cleared bergi departure, squawk 2153. We flew the only bergi departure in our books charts xy 10-3C amsterdam, the netherlands, dated sun, june, 91, for runway 24 which is listed as a bergi special departure. Approaching the turn point to go direct to bergi, the departure controller stated 'you are on a bergi, special departure turn direct bergi.' he then asked us if we were using charts xy plates and stated 'there is no bergi departure off runway 24 in charts xy, turn direct bergi.' we do not know the intent of his remarks and will question first officer air carrier airlines operations and ams departure on our next trip. I know that first officer air carrier does not use xy plates and wonder if first officer air carrier has a different bergi departure for runway 24. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information. First officer stated that after returning to his domicile he had a new set of charts from the distribution company. Within that revision was a new chart that listed the bergi departure for runway 24 and the special for runway 24. Appears that the charts were in the mail during the event that was previously reported.

Title: HEADING TRACK DEVIATION DURING SID DEP AT FOREIGN ARPT WHEN AVAILABLE CHART WAS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR DEP RWY.
Narrative: FLT TUES, JUNE, 1991, AMSTERDAM TO BOSTON. OUR CLRNC FROM AMS CLRNC DELIVERY WAS CLRED BERGI DEP, SQUAWK 2153. WE FLEW THE ONLY BERGI DEP IN OUR BOOKS CHARTS XY 10-3C AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS, DATED SUN, JUNE, 91, FOR RWY 24 WHICH IS LISTED AS A BERGI SPECIAL DEP. APCHING THE TURN POINT TO GO DIRECT TO BERGI, THE DEP CTLR STATED 'YOU ARE ON A BERGI, SPECIAL DEP TURN DIRECT BERGI.' HE THEN ASKED US IF WE WERE USING CHARTS XY PLATES AND STATED 'THERE IS NO BERGI DEP OFF RWY 24 IN CHARTS XY, TURN DIRECT BERGI.' WE DO NOT KNOW THE INTENT OF HIS REMARKS AND WILL QUESTION FO ACR AIRLINES OPS AND AMS DEP ON OUR NEXT TRIP. I KNOW THAT FO ACR DOES NOT USE XY PLATES AND WONDER IF FO ACR HAS A DIFFERENT BERGI DEP FOR RWY 24. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO. F/O STATED THAT AFTER RETURNING TO HIS DOMICILE HE HAD A NEW SET OF CHARTS FROM THE DISTRIBUTION COMPANY. WITHIN THAT REVISION WAS A NEW CHART THAT LISTED THE BERGI DEP FOR RWY 24 AND THE SPECIAL FOR RWY 24. APPEARS THAT THE CHARTS WERE IN THE MAIL DURING THE EVENT THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY RPTED.
