Narrative:
Flight was released with fuel 23500#. After flight departing, checked computer for actual fuel on board. Fuel on board was 1400 pounds less the release fuel. Allowed flight to continue to destination. Problem occurred due lack of communication between captain and dispatch. WX conditions thunderstorms.

Title: DISPATCHER ALLEGES CAPT DEPARTED ON SCHEDULED AIRLINE FLT WITH LESS FUEL THAN INDICATED ON FLT RELEASE.
Narrative: FLT WAS RELEASED WITH FUEL 23500#. AFTER FLT DEPARTING, CHKED COMPUTER FOR ACTUAL FUEL ON BOARD. FUEL ON BOARD WAS 1400 LBS LESS THE RELEASE FUEL. ALLOWED FLT TO CONTINUE TO DEST. PROB OCCURRED DUE LACK OF COM BTWN CAPT AND DISPATCH. WX CONDITIONS TSTMS.
