Narrative:
Shortly after liftoff, approaching the midfield intersection, I observed an fgt at 10 O'clock and approximately 1/4 mi. I initially thought I could pull up and top the fgt, but realized at his high rate of speed that he would probably pull up also. I then dived to go below the fgt and estimated the aircraft passed directly over us approximately 10-15'. The tower controller said the fgt was on approach control frequency and he had no contact with him. The situation could have been helped if traffic had been issued. The second fgt missed us by approximately 100'.
