Narrative:
While turning final for runway 21R at dtw we received an RA from our TCAS calling for a climb. We arrested our descent, climbed 100-200' and the RA changed to 'monitor vertical speed.' we queried the controller who advised VFR traffic at 1:30 who we subsequently spotted.
