Narrative:

I was the instrument on a flight from meacham field with the destination of dallas love field in a single engine small aircraft. We were issued clearance from ground control to taxi to runway 16L. We taxied down the parallel taxiway but had to stop short of an intersecting taxiway because a widebody transport was blocking the intersection. I heard ground tell the widebody transport pilot to contact tower and shortly thereafter, the widebody transport moved across the intersection. We then continued our taxi down to the runup area of 16L and stopped and started to perform our before takeoff checklist. The widebody transport then taxied back on runway 16L toward the end and did a 180 degree turn to the left directing its jet blast toward us and rocking us from side to side striking both wing tips on the ground. I believe the unfamiliarity of the controllers and the widebody transport pilot with the damage a large jet's jet blast can do to a light aircraft was the major cause of this incident. I believe procedures need to be set up to ensure sep of light aircraft from large jets.

Title: GA SMA EXPOSED TO JET BLAST TO THE EXTENT THAT BOTH WING TIPS HIT THE GND.

Narrative: I WAS THE INSTR ON A FLT FROM MEACHAM FIELD WITH THE DEST OF DALLAS LOVE FIELD IN A SINGLE ENG SMA. WE WERE ISSUED CLRNC FROM GND CTL TO TAXI TO RWY 16L. WE TAXIED DOWN THE PARALLEL TXWY BUT HAD TO STOP SHORT OF AN INTERSECTING TXWY BECAUSE A WDB WAS BLOCKING THE INTXN. I HEARD GND TELL THE WDB PLT TO CONTACT TWR AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THE WDB MOVED ACROSS THE INTXN. WE THEN CONTINUED OUR TAXI DOWN TO THE RUNUP AREA OF 16L AND STOPPED AND STARTED TO PERFORM OUR BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST. THE WDB THEN TAXIED BACK ON RWY 16L TOWARD THE END AND DID A 180 DEG TURN TO THE LEFT DIRECTING ITS JET BLAST TOWARD US AND ROCKING US FROM SIDE TO SIDE STRIKING BOTH WING TIPS ON THE GND. I BELIEVE THE UNFAMILIARITY OF THE CTLRS AND THE WDB PLT WITH THE DAMAGE A LARGE JET'S JET BLAST CAN DO TO A LIGHT ACFT WAS THE MAJOR CAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT. I BELIEVE PROCS NEED TO BE SET UP TO ENSURE SEP OF LIGHT ACFT FROM LARGE JETS.
