Narrative:
Air carrier X was coordinated with new york center at FL330. Air carrier X checked in with R70 (jax center) at FL350. Air carrier X was to have been descended to FL330 prior to switching to new york arinc. The aircraft became a factor in an incident with another aircraft in new york center's airspace at FL350. The error on my part, I think, was due to moderate to busy traffic at the time. I did not have a d-side controller at the time. Discovered by new york center and was informed by them about 20 mins after aircraft was switched to arinc. Supplemental information from acn 184103: I was working radar position and coordinated FL330 with ZNY (new york). I was relieved and briefed relieving controller on air carrier X. When I came back to work, I was told that air carrier X reported passing air carrier Y at his altitude. Supplemental information from acn 183863: air carrier X was cleared via diw AR7 miloe AR4 smelt G431 elkas R763 gtk flight plan route at FL330. Washington center asked if we could make FL350. I accepted FL350, and climbed to be level prior to diw. The next sector was jax center. They assigned us a heading of 190 degree until clear of warning areas, then direct to jesse. Approximately 60 NM northwest of jesse we observed an oncoming air carrier Y which appeared to be at our altitude. Due to the direct routing we were not on the centerline of the airway, fortunately. The air carrier Y passed off our left wing approximately 1/2 mi and contacted air carrier Y crew on 130.55 and confirmed that we were both assigned FL350. I immediately called new york oceanic on HF and we were instructed to descend and maintain FL330.

Title: ACR X HAD LTSS FROM ACR Y. SYS ERROR.
Narrative: ACR X WAS COORDINATED WITH NEW YORK CENTER AT FL330. ACR X CHKED IN WITH R70 (JAX CENTER) AT FL350. ACR X WAS TO HAVE BEEN DSNDED TO FL330 PRIOR TO SWITCHING TO NEW YORK ARINC. THE ACFT BECAME A FACTOR IN AN INCIDENT WITH ANOTHER ACFT IN NEW YORK CENTER'S AIRSPACE AT FL350. THE ERROR ON MY PART, I THINK, WAS DUE TO MODERATE TO BUSY TFC AT THE TIME. I DID NOT HAVE A D-SIDE CTLR AT THE TIME. DISCOVERED BY NEW YORK CENTER AND WAS INFORMED BY THEM ABOUT 20 MINS AFTER ACFT WAS SWITCHED TO ARINC. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 184103: I WAS WORKING RADAR POS AND COORDINATED FL330 WITH ZNY (NEW YORK). I WAS RELIEVED AND BRIEFED RELIEVING CTLR ON ACR X. WHEN I CAME BACK TO WORK, I WAS TOLD THAT ACR X RPTED PASSING ACR Y AT HIS ALT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 183863: ACR X WAS CLRED VIA DIW AR7 MILOE AR4 SMELT G431 ELKAS R763 GTK FLT PLAN RTE AT FL330. WASHINGTON CENTER ASKED IF WE COULD MAKE FL350. I ACCEPTED FL350, AND CLBED TO BE LEVEL PRIOR TO DIW. THE NEXT SECTOR WAS JAX CENTER. THEY ASSIGNED US A HDG OF 190 DEG UNTIL CLR OF WARNING AREAS, THEN DIRECT TO JESSE. APPROX 60 NM NW OF JESSE WE OBSERVED AN ONCOMING ACR Y WHICH APPEARED TO BE AT OUR ALT. DUE TO THE DIRECT RTING WE WERE NOT ON THE CENTERLINE OF THE AIRWAY, FORTUNATELY. THE ACR Y PASSED OFF OUR L WING APPROX 1/2 MI AND CONTACTED ACR Y CREW ON 130.55 AND CONFIRMED THAT WE WERE BOTH ASSIGNED FL350. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED NEW YORK OCEANIC ON HF AND WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO DSND AND MAINTAIN FL330.
