Narrative:
Mishap occurred as brakes were parked on taxi into gate at mco. Normal signals to proceed into gate, park brakes and shutdown engines were received from the marshaller. After deplaning it was noticed that the left wing leading edge had contacted the top RAIL of a widebody cargo loader as the aircraft rolled to a stop. This left a vertical dent and cut about 2 in long and 2 ft inboard of red navigation light. No aircraft wing clearance safety lines were evident on the pavement in the gate area. No signals were given that the aircraft wings were close to any obstructions. The gate area did in fact look clear approaching, however, the angular approach to this corner gate could have contributed to a misleading clearance from subject loader. Also the jetway obscured the captain's vision out to the left side during the last 20-30 ft of roll. The aircraft was parked dead center on the parking line with the nose wheel right on the spot. Observation: simple ground wing clearance safety lines would have prevented his mishap.
