Air Traffic Incident | Operational Error |
Narrative:
Air carrier X on clt approach frequency. High traffic density; was switched to final approach controller. Controller immediately called for left turn 90 degree off inbound. Saw air carrier Y straight ahead given a turn 180 degree to ours. Judgement: overloaded controllers and 1 fast talking final controller that was at times difficult to understand.
