Narrative:
We were cleared the ACORD2 arrival to yvr. We were cleared to descend to cross acord intersection at 20000 ft. We were given a late descent clearance by sea center (due to high volume of traffic). After we commenced descent, sea ATC said descend to 110 as soon as possible. We were in icing with engine heat on and engines spooled to 55 percent N1. We deployed speed brakes and commenced rapid descent. We were switched to yvr approach with controller's apology for late clearance. The yvr ATC said 'you missed your altitude and airspeed, do a right 360 degree'. We are under the impression that when we were given 110 the other restriction (20000 at acord) was cancelled. There is no published crossing min at acord intersection. We were slightly faster than the 250 KTS acord restriction due to our rapid descent. We are not sure if we violated a far or not!

Title: ACR LGT UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH STAR CROSSING RESTRICTION DUE LATE CLRNC THEN ALSO FAILED TO MEET STAR SPD RESTRICTION TRYING TO GET DOWN.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED THE ACORD2 ARR TO YVR. WE WERE CLRED TO DSND TO CROSS ACORD INTXN AT 20000 FT. WE WERE GIVEN A LATE DSCNT CLRNC BY SEA CENTER (DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF TFC). AFTER WE COMMENCED DSCNT, SEA ATC SAID DSND TO 110 ASAP. WE WERE IN ICING WITH ENG HEAT ON AND ENGS SPOOLED TO 55 PERCENT N1. WE DEPLOYED SPD BRAKES AND COMMENCED RAPID DSCNT. WE WERE SWITCHED TO YVR APCH WITH CTLR'S APOLOGY FOR LATE CLRNC. THE YVR ATC SAID 'YOU MISSED YOUR ALT AND AIRSPD, DO A R 360 DEG'. WE ARE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT WHEN WE WERE GIVEN 110 THE OTHER RESTRICTION (20000 AT ACORD) WAS CANCELLED. THERE IS NO PUBLISHED XING MIN AT ACORD INTXN. WE WERE SLIGHTLY FASTER THAN THE 250 KTS ACORD RESTRICTION DUE TO OUR RAPID DSCNT. WE ARE NOT SURE IF WE VIOLATED A FAR OR NOT!
