Narrative:

Taxiing from gate to runway 23, thought we were on taxiway F. Controller told us we were on a 'non movement area.' we were on a taxiway not depicted on chart 11-1 for ilm. The taxiway in use appeared to be a normal, usable taxiway. It was also the most northerly taxiway on the ramp, which as depicted on chart 11-1 as taxiway F. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that they were cleared to taxi 'F to a to G for runway 23'. Leaving the gate they took the first taxiway they saw believing it to be 'F' since there is no other taxiway shown. Captain was taxiing and reporter was not xchking because on the diagram it appeared pretty simple. It appears the unidented taxiway may go to the building indicated west of the tower.
