Narrative:
I was a pilot on an initial operating experience (IOE) for a major airline. Upon takeoff from sna I rotated the aircraft early and the tail scraped the runway. The cause of this incident is the most unusual noise abatement procedure I have ever seen. Had I been making a normal takeoff this incident would never have happened. Also FYI, this was my fourth (4TH) takeoff in this equipment. This was also my fourth (4TH) takeoff in approximately a yr due to an injury requiring time off.
