Narrative:
Flight departed bangor, me. VFR conditions and at an altitude of 2000 MSL. Monitored bangor approach until nearing rockland, me. When bangor advised radar contact lost, we then monitored brunswick approach until contacting manchester approach for advisories into boston. Also between brunswick and manchester we monitored portland ATIS and heard NOTAM for P67 at kennebunkport for the usual 1 mi restriction over the presidents to be increased to 4 mi. We adjusted course to avoid P67 and from our altitude we estimated 4 mi out over the water and outside of the notamed area. Upon landing at boston ground control gave a number to phone portland approach. I did this immediately after landing, spoke with the supervisor which told me of the situation that the secret service had called and were worried of an airplane within 4 mi of the president's house. He had assured that they would not pursue the matter as long as it would not happen again. I assured portland that I was aware of the situation but felt that I was outside the restr airspace. Also the president was leaving maine at approximately the same time we passed by portland. There was no danger to anyone at any time and no intent of violating any rules or airspace throughout the flight.

Narrative: FLT DEPARTED BANGOR, ME. VFR CONDITIONS AND AT AN ALT OF 2000 MSL. MONITORED BANGOR APCH UNTIL NEARING ROCKLAND, ME. WHEN BANGOR ADVISED RADAR CONTACT LOST, WE THEN MONITORED BRUNSWICK APCH UNTIL CONTACTING MANCHESTER APCH FOR ADVISORIES INTO BOSTON. ALSO BTWN BRUNSWICK AND MANCHESTER WE MONITORED PORTLAND ATIS AND HEARD NOTAM FOR P67 AT KENNEBUNKPORT FOR THE USUAL 1 MI RESTRICTION OVER THE PRESIDENTS TO BE INCREASED TO 4 MI. WE ADJUSTED COURSE TO AVOID P67 AND FROM OUR ALT WE ESTIMATED 4 MI OUT OVER THE WATER AND OUTSIDE OF THE NOTAMED AREA. UPON LNDG AT BOSTON GND CTL GAVE A NUMBER TO PHONE PORTLAND APCH. I DID THIS IMMEDIATELY AFTER LNDG, SPOKE WITH THE SUPVR WHICH TOLD ME OF THE SITUATION THAT THE SECRET SVC HAD CALLED AND WERE WORRIED OF AN AIRPLANE WITHIN 4 MI OF THE PRESIDENT'S HOUSE. HE HAD ASSURED THAT THEY WOULD NOT PURSUE THE MATTER AS LONG AS IT WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. I ASSURED PORTLAND THAT I WAS AWARE OF THE SITUATION BUT FELT THAT I WAS OUTSIDE THE RESTR AIRSPACE. ALSO THE PRESIDENT WAS LEAVING MAINE AT APPROX THE SAME TIME WE PASSED BY PORTLAND. THERE WAS NO DANGER TO ANYONE AT ANY TIME AND NO INTENT OF VIOLATING ANY RULES OR AIRSPACE THROUGHOUT THE FLT.
