Narrative:
I was VFR cross country from fort myers, fl, to daytona beach, fl. I had an out-of-date sectional that showed an arsa for orlando, fl, with a top of 4100 ft MSL. Orlando has a TCA with a top of 10000 ft MSL. I entered the TCA at 7500 ft at the southwest corner, centered over mco and exited in the northeast, headed to daytona. The encoding transponder was on and transmitting altitude information. When I landed at daytona beach, fl, ground control directed me to contact tower, who directed me to orlando TRACON. Although the earth will not change significantly from chart to chart, florida will, and current charts are necessary.
