Narrative:
The so preflts the aircraft. A catering truck was parked at the forward rh service door blocking or covering the damaged area. The so did not see the damaged area. I flew the aircraft to ewr. On descent into ewr it took power to control the pressurization. I made a logbook write up stating we had a problem with the pressurization. There was a crew change in ewr again the so did his walk around. A catering truck was parked at the forward service door. He did not see the damaged area. The damaged area was found in fll after second flight. No catering truck at aircraft. After investigation by company they believe the damage was caused by ground power unit sometime before we arrived at the aircraft in buf. We need to educate the ground people on safety and to report the accident and especially any damage to an aircraft. Mtc signed off the logbook in ewr problem with forward ent door seal.

Title: LGT FLT BUF TO EWR EXPERIENCED PRESSURIZATION PROBLEM ON DSCNT REQUIRING 80 PERCENT PER 1 AND 3 ENGS TO MAINTAIN STABILIZED PRESSURIZATION. AT CONCLUSION OF SUBSEQUENT FLT BY ANOTHER FLC A TEAR IN THE FUSELAGE SKIN NEAR FORWARD SVC DOOR WAS FOUND.
Narrative: THE SO PREFLTS THE ACFT. A CATERING TRUCK WAS PARKED AT THE FORWARD RH SVC DOOR BLOCKING OR COVERING THE DAMAGED AREA. THE SO DID NOT SEE THE DAMAGED AREA. I FLEW THE ACFT TO EWR. ON DSCNT INTO EWR IT TOOK PWR TO CTL THE PRESSURIZATION. I MADE A LOGBOOK WRITE UP STATING WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE PRESSURIZATION. THERE WAS A CREW CHANGE IN EWR AGAIN THE SO DID HIS WALK AROUND. A CATERING TRUCK WAS PARKED AT THE FORWARD SVC DOOR. HE DID NOT SEE THE DAMAGED AREA. THE DAMAGED AREA WAS FOUND IN FLL AFTER SECOND FLT. NO CATERING TRUCK AT ACFT. AFTER INVESTIGATION BY COMPANY THEY BELIEVE THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY GND PWR UNIT SOMETIME BEFORE WE ARRIVED AT THE ACFT IN BUF. WE NEED TO EDUCATE THE GND PEOPLE ON SAFETY AND TO RPT THE ACCIDENT AND ESPECIALLY ANY DAMAGE TO AN ACFT. MTC SIGNED OFF THE LOGBOOK IN EWR PROBLEM WITH FORWARD ENT DOOR SEAL.
