Narrative:
I was taxiing an aircraft east on the cargo taxiway. I was taxiing slow on the centerline and passed a semi-truck. The truck appeared to be clear and well away from the aircraft. I felt the aircraft swing to the left and I applied the brakes. I could not see the wing tip from the cockpit so I opened the window to see what had happened. I saw approximately 1 ft of the wing tip in the side of the trailer of the semi- truck. I determined there was no leak and got back in the cockpit. I then felt the aircraft shudder again and I looked out and saw the truck try to pull away. I yelled at him to stop and he did. The truck should not have been on the taxiway. He had been lost at the time and had stopped to look at his truck. I think the way to prevent this would be to not allow trucks onto taxiways.
