Narrative:
Departure control issued traffic at 2500. We just took off 19R and at 1800 MSL departure control told us to level off at 2000 which we did. Began flap retraction, power reduction, looking for traffic, with TCASII issuing very loud oral 'traffic, traffic' warnings. We visually sighted the aircraft, passed under it, but aircraft automatic throttles were on, and airspeed exceeded 250 KTS. Subsequent to passing the aircraft, we exceeded our cleared altitude by about 600 ft. ATC then cleared us to a higher altitude. What caused the problem? 1) a non standard takeoff profile. 2) TCASII oral warnings so loud that no other communications are possible. 3) very infrequent departures from that very noise sensitive airport.

Title: FLC OF WDB HAD TCASII TA, LOUD TCASII ANNOUNCEMENT. OVERSHOT ASSIGNED ALT DEPARTING SNA. SPD DEV.
Narrative: DEP CTL ISSUED TFC AT 2500. WE JUST TOOK OFF 19R AND AT 1800 MSL DEP CTL TOLD US TO LEVEL OFF AT 2000 WHICH WE DID. BEGAN FLAP RETRACTION, PWR REDUCTION, LOOKING FOR TFC, WITH TCASII ISSUING VERY LOUD ORAL 'TFC, TFC' WARNINGS. WE VISUALLY SIGHTED THE ACFT, PASSED UNDER IT, BUT ACFT AUTO THROTTLES WERE ON, AND AIRSPD EXCEEDED 250 KTS. SUBSEQUENT TO PASSING THE ACFT, WE EXCEEDED OUR CLRED ALT BY ABOUT 600 FT. ATC THEN CLRED US TO A HIGHER ALT. WHAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM? 1) A NON STANDARD TKOF PROFILE. 2) TCASII ORAL WARNINGS SO LOUD THAT NO OTHER COMS ARE POSSIBLE. 3) VERY INFREQUENT DEPS FROM THAT VERY NOISE SENSITIVE ARPT.
