Narrative:

Aircraft was flown from dca to jfk on sep/mon/91. The aircraft departed dca at XB35 (local) and arrived at jfk at XC40 (local). The maintenance log was said to have expired at XA00 (local) that same morning. The PIC (myself) misread the sign off thinking we were still within limits. A maintenance sign off lasts for 72 hours.

Title: MAINT SIGN OFF OUT OF DATE.

Narrative: ACFT WAS FLOWN FROM DCA TO JFK ON SEP/MON/91. THE ACFT DEPARTED DCA AT XB35 (LCL) AND ARRIVED AT JFK AT XC40 (LCL). THE MAINT LOG WAS SAID TO HAVE EXPIRED AT XA00 (LCL) THAT SAME MORNING. THE PIC (MYSELF) MISREAD THE SIGN OFF THINKING WE WERE STILL WITHIN LIMITS. A MAINT SIGN OFF LASTS FOR 72 HRS.
