Narrative:
We were level at FL250 and the TCASII showed a TA traffic at 11 O'clock and 14 mi coming at us. The TCASII went to an RA with the instructions to 'climb, climb'. The first officer disconnected autoplt and began a climb when I visually saw the aircraft who was at FL240 going by our left side. We stopped climb at 25250 ft and returned to FL250.
