Narrative:

Visual approach to 9R at atl. Instructed by approach control to switch to tower at the OM. I was flying the aircraft on my first leg of an initial operating experience rotation. At the OM, we were distracted by a rudder malfunction annunciator and never switched to tower for landing clearance. We landed without clearance and did not switch to tower until clear of the runway and directed by approach control. I failed to notice that the captain (line check airman) did not switch to tower for several reasons. 1) I had been in training for 6 weeks and not flown the line for almost 7 weeks. 2) I was new in the aircraft and most of my attention was directed to hand flying the approach. 3) distracted by unrelated aircraft annunciator.
