Narrative:
Aborted takeoff due to aft airstair door light illuminating at V1. No further incident and no complications. Turned out to be switch malfunction. Complied with all company procedures. The abort was not a panic stop due to long runway. Aborted takeoff training in simulator is well worth the time. It pays off when you have to make a quick decision.
