Narrative:
Mistakenly told tampa clearance did not have sarasota 1 STAR to naples (did have on aircraft) but did not find obscure reference to fort meyers on back of naples airport depiction until en route srq. When I told kpta clearance I did not have srq 1 on board he refused to rerte me, instead read me the procedure over the air and issued a clearance based on the procedure. Foot note on back of airport depiction is not normal place to find information referring crew to STAR serving that airport, let alone STAR that primarily serves other than destination airport.
