Narrative:
At FL330 we had a sudden and complete electrical power failure. We requested a descent to 290 out of concern for pressurization. I informed ATC that we had electrical problems that left us without any navigation or compass, except for wet compass and confirmed a loss of mode C. I requested vectors to destination and they agreed. We were level at 290 and ATC informed us of traffic which we saw pass under us. I informed ATC that our air data may also be affected by the electrical problems (bos center) and they should feel free to vector us around any possible conflicting traffic. At that point the pilot of our previously called traffic said 'that did not look like 1000 ft separation'. When I was asked by ATC, I told them that 'it is hard to judge, but it looked like 1000 ft to me'. I feel that all the controllers involved were very helpful and cooperative.
