Narrative:
I sent a student on a solo cross country to ft myers page field. Apparently there was a misunderstanding between the tower and the student. The student says he took off from page field and asked for a right turn out. The tower replied, 'ok, contact departure control.' he contacted departure control. They told him to climb to 2500 ft. He apparently flew over southwest regional thinking he had clearance from departure control. The student has a heavy spanish accent; however, on the dual cross country's he has been able to communicate within the ATC system effectively. I spoke with the supervisor at page field tower he said the student was told to fly runway heading, then contact departure control. During the frequency change the student asked for the right turn and thought he had clearance to turn. That is all the information the supervisor could provide other than the fact that the student had a heavy spanish accent. I feel this problem could have been prevented if the controllers had spoken slower to the student pilot and clarified the clearance.

Title: SPI WITH A LANGUAGE BARRIER MISINTERPS CLRNC AND EXPERIENCES HDG TRACK DEV WHICH CREATES AN UNAUTH UNCOORD PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE IN PROX OF ATA.
Narrative: I SENT A STUDENT ON A SOLO XCOUNTRY TO FT MYERS PAGE FIELD. APPARENTLY THERE WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING BTWN THE TWR AND THE STUDENT. THE STUDENT SAYS HE TOOK OFF FROM PAGE FIELD AND ASKED FOR A R TURN OUT. THE TWR REPLIED, 'OK, CONTACT DEP CTL.' HE CONTACTED DEP CTL. THEY TOLD HIM TO CLB TO 2500 FT. HE APPARENTLY FLEW OVER SW REGIONAL THINKING HE HAD CLRNC FROM DEP CTL. THE STUDENT HAS A HVY SPANISH ACCENT; HOWEVER, ON THE DUAL XCOUNTRY'S HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITHIN THE ATC SYS EFFECTIVELY.
