Narrative:
I work for a part 135 aircraft company. On this night, the director of operations and I were flying a passenger trip together. We are both highly experienced light transport capts. We taxied east from the FBO to the approach end of 18L and were cleared for takeoff on 18L. I was acting as sic in the right seat. The do was acting as PIC and his name was on the flight plan. On the takeoff roll, I heard the tower controller say something but ignored it as we were about 100 KTS and accelerating. Once the aircraft was airborne and cleaned up the tower controller said we took off on the parallel taxiway and that fortunately no other aircraft were moving on the airport. I'm shocked that it could have happened and I don't think it did, but I can't be positive it didn't. We still aren't sure (no other aircraft was involved). The taxi to the runway was short, and I felt rushed with the checklist, but feel sure I would have noticed the blue taxiway lights and much narrower parallel taxiway. Also, the tower is quite a distance from 18L.

Title: ATX MADE A TKOF FROM A PARALLEL TAXIWAY INSTEAD OF THE CLRNC RWY AT HSV.
Narrative: I WORK FOR A PART 135 ACFT COMPANY. ON THIS NIGHT, THE DIRECTOR OF OPS AND I WERE FLYING A PAX TRIP TOGETHER. WE ARE BOTH HIGHLY EXPERIENCED LTT CAPTS. WE TAXIED E FROM THE FBO TO THE APCH END OF 18L AND WERE CLRED FOR TKOF ON 18L. I WAS ACTING AS SIC IN THE R SEAT. THE DO WAS ACTING AS PIC AND HIS NAME WAS ON THE FLT PLAN. ON THE TKOF ROLL, I HEARD THE TWR CTLR SAY SOMETHING BUT IGNORED IT AS WE WERE ABOUT 100 KTS AND ACCELERATING. ONCE THE ACFT WAS AIRBORNE AND CLEANED UP THE TWR CTLR SAID WE TOOK OFF ON THE PARALLEL TAXIWAY AND THAT FORTUNATELY NO OTHER ACFT WERE MOVING ON THE ARPT. I'M SHOCKED THAT IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED AND I DON'T THINK IT DID, BUT I CAN'T BE POSITIVE IT DIDN'T. WE STILL AREN'T SURE (NO OTHER ACFT WAS INVOLVED). THE TAXI TO THE RWY WAS SHORT, AND I FELT RUSHED WITH THE CHKLIST, BUT FEEL SURE I WOULD HAVE NOTICED THE BLUE TAXIWAY LIGHTS AND MUCH NARROWER PARALLEL TAXIWAY. ALSO, THE TWR IS QUITE A DISTANCE FROM 18L.
