Narrative:
On takeoff lax runway 25R with TCASII in TA mode, got approximately 8 traffic warnings from a 24L parallel departure. This constant advisory was distracting to say the least and made hearing tower communication so difficult that we finally turned the TCASII off. Once the other departure was divergent, TCASII was turned back on. What we need is some kind of mute function that temporarily stops further 'traffic' calls once a particular target has been idented as traffic, without inhibiting a 'traffic' call from a newly idented target.

Title: ACR FO COMPLAINS ABOUT NUISANCE TCASII WARNING DURING MULTIPLE RWY OP. TKOFS BEING MADE FROM PARALLEL RWYS AT LAX.
