Narrative:

While on approach to stl (level 10000 ft, heading 190 degrees, vectors for 30R runway) we received a TA from TCASII, traffic at 1-1:30, 200 ft below us, level.' this was followed by a TA from approach control. Immediately, our TCASII said 'climb, climb!' so we left 10000 ft and advised the controller. We leveled at 11000 ft and when 'clear of conflict' returned to 10000. Both the controller and us were pleased on how well TCASII aided in situation. No passenger and/or crew were injured by climb.
