Narrative:
Small transport X was level at 3500 downwind south of the airport. Small aircraft Y departure lex sound climbing to 3500. When I issued traffic to small transport X he said he had the aircraft on TCASII and needed to climb. No other traffic in the area so I approved it. Small transport X climbed 500 ft.

Narrative: SMT X WAS LEVEL AT 3500 DOWNWIND S OF THE ARPT. SMA Y DEP LEX SOUND CLBING TO 3500. WHEN I ISSUED TFC TO SMT X HE SAID HE HAD THE ACFT ON TCASII AND NEEDED TO CLB. NO OTHER TFC IN THE AREA SO I APPROVED IT. SMT X CLBED 500 FT.
