Narrative:
Copilot flying the aircraft with the omega which can only be coupled with capts flight director/autoplt. Both captain and first officer had tuned bridgeport VOR instead of adm VOR when instructions to hold over adm were received. Some rainshowers were in the area and between radar. Copying nondepicted holding instructions and other arrival tasks crew did not notice the omega was still flying the programmed arrival until past adm VOR. I had asked for permission to deviation around WX south of adm which probably threw the controller off. Ft worth ARTCC never asked about the holding pattern assigned over adm. They did give us 4 different efcs which added to the confusion. We were switched to another frequency approximately 30 north of bpr and south of adm before I realized the error. Mistuned vors, unmonitored omega, WX, and arrival tasking saturation in a 2 man cockpit taken care of by 2 very good ARTCC controllers.

Narrative: COPLT FLYING THE ACFT WITH THE OMEGA WHICH CAN ONLY BE COUPLED WITH CAPTS FLT DIRECTOR/AUTOPLT. BOTH CAPT AND FO HAD TUNED BRIDGEPORT VOR INSTEAD OF ADM VOR WHEN INSTRUCTIONS TO HOLD OVER ADM WERE RECEIVED. SOME RAINSHOWERS WERE IN THE AREA AND BTWN RADAR. COPYING NONDEPICTED HOLDING INSTRUCTIONS AND OTHER ARR TASKS CREW DID NOT NOTICE THE OMEGA WAS STILL FLYING THE PROGRAMMED ARR UNTIL PAST ADM VOR. I HAD ASKED FOR PERMISSION TO DEV AROUND WX S OF ADM WHICH PROBABLY THREW THE CTLR OFF. FT WORTH ARTCC NEVER ASKED ABOUT THE HOLDING PATTERN ASSIGNED OVER ADM. THEY DID GIVE US 4 DIFFERENT EFCS WHICH ADDED TO THE CONFUSION. WE WERE SWITCHED TO ANOTHER FREQ APPROX 30 N OF BPR AND S OF ADM BEFORE I REALIZED THE ERROR.
