Narrative:
After landing on 9R at ord, we cleared at the 'twig' turnoff, turned left onto the 'parallel', right at the 'branch' left onto the 'cargo' and right onto the 'outer'. As we turned onto the 'outer' the aircraft began sliding to the left. I applied brakes and reverse thrust and was successful keeping the aircraft on the taxiway. However, when I tried forward thrust and nose wheel turned to the right, the aircraft slid further left, but still on the taxiway as I applied brakes and reverse thrust. We called for a tug to tow us to the centerline and then continued our taxi to the gate. It should be noted that the braking action was reported fair to poor on 9R, which we confirmed upon landing. No braking action reports for taxiways on ATIS except to 'use caution.' the area in which we slid was so slippery that the tug could get no traction to push us back to the centerline, so instead pulled us forward.

Title: FLC OF LGT UNABLE TO TURN ACFT ON SLIPPERLY TAXIWAY. CALLED FOR TRACTOR TUG ASSISTANCE. TOWED ONTO CENTERLINE OF TAXIWAY THEN ABLE TO TAXI UNDER OWN PWR.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON 9R AT ORD, WE CLRED AT THE 'TWIG' TURNOFF, TURNED L ONTO THE 'PARALLEL', R AT THE 'BRANCH' L ONTO THE 'CARGO' AND R ONTO THE 'OUTER'. AS WE TURNED ONTO THE 'OUTER' THE ACFT BEGAN SLIDING TO THE L. I APPLIED BRAKES AND REVERSE THRUST AND WAS SUCCESSFUL KEEPING THE ACFT ON THE TAXIWAY. HOWEVER, WHEN I TRIED FORWARD THRUST AND NOSE WHEEL TURNED TO THE R, THE ACFT SLID FURTHER L, BUT STILL ON THE TAXIWAY AS I APPLIED BRAKES AND REVERSE THRUST. WE CALLED FOR A TUG TO TOW US TO THE CENTERLINE AND THEN CONTINUED OUR TAXI TO THE GATE. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE BRAKING ACTION WAS RPTED FAIR TO POOR ON 9R, WHICH WE CONFIRMED UPON LNDG. NO BRAKING ACTION RPTS FOR TAXIWAYS ON ATIS EXCEPT TO 'USE CAUTION.' THE AREA IN WHICH WE SLID WAS SO SLIPPERY THAT THE TUG COULD GET NO TRACTION TO PUSH US BACK TO THE CENTERLINE, SO INSTEAD PULLED US FORWARD.
