Narrative:

Our flight was to depart stl to sbn. Our aircraft was loaded and ready to go at XX10. Due to ramp delays we did not start engines until XX45. At XX45 after engine start the ramp agent was signaled removal of gpu and chocks. He was then saluted ready to taxi, and he returned that salute, then signaled us to turn left. After starting this turn our aircraft struck the ground power unit on the right rear side. The ground power unit was completely out of the pilot's sight. Aircraft was secured with no further incident.
