Narrative:

I started entering mixed ice conditions about 40 mi east of mkg in an attempt to make a visual approach into C28. After a descent to the min vector altitude I was not able to make visual contact with C28. I had problems climbing out for the ILS 24 in mkg. The wind was 310/17 and I made a circle to land for 32 which was 85 degree snow free and had snow ridges on both sides. In my after landing roll I came to a stop in the snow on the right side of 32. The situation occurred in unforcasted freezing rain (temperature inversion). I was not able to look out of my windshield because of the ice on my windshield. The situation caused no damage or injuries.
