Narrative:
We were operating flight dec/xx/91 ord-lax, making normal approach to runway 25L following civit profile. An medium large transport had been cleared for a stadium visual to runway 24 complex and overshot to 25 directly in front of us. We received a TCASII climb RA and took evasive action. Tower advised the medium large transport was correcting back. We then made normal approach and landing. Incident occurred at 3000 ft MSL.

Title: CLOSE PROX ACR LGT COMPLETING A STRAIGHT IN PROFILE TO LAX AND ACR MLG MAKING A STADIUM VISUAL TO N COMPLEX.
Narrative: WE WERE OPERATING FLT DEC/XX/91 ORD-LAX, MAKING NORMAL APCH TO RWY 25L FOLLOWING CIVIT PROFILE. AN MLG HAD BEEN CLRED FOR A STADIUM VISUAL TO RWY 24 COMPLEX AND OVERSHOT TO 25 DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF US. WE RECEIVED A TCASII CLB RA AND TOOK EVASIVE ACTION. TWR ADVISED THE MLG WAS CORRECTING BACK. WE THEN MADE NORMAL APCH AND LNDG. INCIDENT OCCURRED AT 3000 FT MSL.
