Narrative:
Passenger with aids boarded flight in ewr allowed on board because nurse accompanied passenger. In flight 'a' flight attendant advised captain that passenger was breathing laboriously and needed O2 and advised me that the companion was not a nurse and did not know first aid. Passenger became incoherent and face color went pale. Landed cmh, paramedics removed passenger. Moral of story: verify certificates.
