Narrative:
We were vectored for traffic some distance #4 for landing. I believe we were handled by 3 different controllers in 15 mins time. I was conducting a training flight and was busy inside the aircraft. We landed without going to tower frequency and was asked by ground controller on landing if we had a landing clearance. I realize I hadnþt gone to tower frequency and I also donþt remember being asked by approach to contact tower. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter says that trainee in right seat had very little good flying time and reporter had to watch every action during the approach. This type aircraft is very noisy in cockpit. ATC had just finished running a string of arrival aircraft and they were last in long line. Thinks maybe approach controller relaxed and did not tell them to switch to tower frequency. There was no conflict with other aircraft or vehicle and FAA did not pursue the incident.

Title: LNDG WITHOUT CLRNC BY CORP JET. UNAUTHORIZED LNDG.
Narrative: WE WERE VECTORED FOR TFC SOME DISTANCE #4 FOR LNDG. I BELIEVE WE WERE HANDLED BY 3 DIFFERENT CTLRS IN 15 MINS TIME. I WAS CONDUCTING A TRAINING FLT AND WAS BUSY INSIDE THE ACFT. WE LANDED WITHOUT GOING TO TWR FREQ AND WAS ASKED BY GND CTLR ON LNDG IF WE HAD A LNDG CLRNC. I REALIZE I HADNþT GONE TO TWR FREQ AND I ALSO DONþT REMEMBER BEING ASKED BY APCH TO CONTACT TWR. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR SAYS THAT TRAINEE IN R SEAT HAD VERY LITTLE GOOD FLYING TIME AND RPTR HAD TO WATCH EVERY ACTION DURING THE APCH. THIS TYPE ACFT IS VERY NOISY IN COCKPIT. ATC HAD JUST FINISHED RUNNING A STRING OF ARR ACFT AND THEY WERE LAST IN LONG LINE. THINKS MAYBE APCH CTLR RELAXED AND DID NOT TELL THEM TO SWITCH TO TWR FREQ. THERE WAS NO CONFLICT WITH OTHER ACFT OR VEHICLE AND FAA DID NOT PURSUE THE INCIDENT.
