Narrative:
En route to dtw a gear door warning light came on. We cycled gear 2 times and gear door warning light went out. After landing we told maintenance of occurrence. They did not want it written up in logbook, since they felt they could not duplicate problem and they would have to swing the gear to clear the writeup. They said it was only moisture in a micro switch. The next crew to take the airplane encountered the same problem, but were unable to extinguish the light and had to return for landing. There was a broken micro switch.
