Narrative:
Received a TA for traffic at 12 O'clock, below the airplane. Could not get visual on the aircraft. Baltimore gave us a descent to 2500 ft and at the same time we received commands from the TCASII to climb. We immediately climbed and at 3400 ft got the all clear from the TCASII. At that point we initiated a descent to 2500 ft as assigned and reported the TCASII deviation to ATC.
