Narrative:
On the day this incident occurred I was working under an unusual heavy and stressful workload. My fuel calculations were correct but at the time of transcribing my figures from my worksheet to the computer, I punched in the wrong figures. My min dispatch fuel was short by 1800 pounds. The captain informed the chief of pilots that he did notice this during preflight but due to his heavy workload did not mention it to me. The captain took corrective measures, climbed to a higher fl reduced his burn en route by 1000 pounds, and landed at destination with 4000 pounds of fuel, which is the equivalent of 45 mins of reserve fuel plus 1000 pounds burn to the nearest alternate which in this case would have been the midway airport. The crew received constant WX briefings en route and the destination WX was not marginal.
