Narrative:

Taxiing on 'J' for takeoff on runway 17R. Missed right turn on taxiway 'D' and taxied across 17R on 'J' without clearance. The clearance was to taxi to 17R, cleared to cross 14. I didn't see the taxiway 'D' sign and thought I was approaching 14 instead of 17. I cleared both ways to check for traffic and crossed 17 without clearance. This occurred while the checklist was being read, and no one caught the error. Supplemental information from acn 202968. At this point the ground controller issued a 180 degree turn to back taxi on 17R for takeoff. Supplemental information from acn 202622. I was busy doing so duties and only noticed problem simultaneously with other crew members. I had my taxi chart out and was semi-following our taxi course, obviously not close enough.

Title: RWY INCURSION. UNAUTH RWY ENTRY XING.

Narrative: TAXIING ON 'J' FOR TKOF ON RWY 17R. MISSED R TURN ON TAXIWAY 'D' AND TAXIED ACROSS 17R ON 'J' WITHOUT CLRNC. THE CLRNC WAS TO TAXI TO 17R, CLRED TO CROSS 14. I DIDN'T SEE THE TAXIWAY 'D' SIGN AND THOUGHT I WAS APCHING 14 INSTEAD OF 17. I CLRED BOTH WAYS TO CHK FOR TFC AND CROSSED 17 WITHOUT CLRNC. THIS OCCURRED WHILE THE CHKLIST WAS BEING READ, AND NO ONE CAUGHT THE ERROR. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 202968. AT THIS POINT THE GND CTLR ISSUED A 180 DEG TURN TO BACK TAXI ON 17R FOR TKOF. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 202622. I WAS BUSY DOING SO DUTIES AND ONLY NOTICED PROBLEM SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH OTHER CREW MEMBERS. I HAD MY TAXI CHART OUT AND WAS SEMI-FOLLOWING OUR TAXI COURSE, OBVIOUSLY NOT CLOSE ENOUGH.
