Narrative:
Just prior to level off aircraft encountered moderate plus turbulence. Rate of climb went full scale up as mach increased to mach .88-.89. Autoplt was disconnected and controled level off and return to 31500 accomplished. Altitude peaked about 32000. No cabin problems reported. Do not have any comments on prevention of similar recurrence due to WX circumstances.
