Narrative:
Unable to maintain altitude of 6000 ft while passing north of das VOR while entering class B airspace, inbound to cxo. While exiting a small line of buildups, was unable to maintain 6000 ft due to turbulence and gained +300 ft. Advised approach control. Was given lower to 3000 ft to enter class B.

Narrative: UNABLE TO MAINTAIN ALT OF 6000 FT WHILE PASSING N OF DAS VOR WHILE ENTERING CLASS B AIRSPACE, INBOUND TO CXO. WHILE EXITING A SMALL LINE OF BUILDUPS, WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN 6000 FT DUE TO TURB AND GAINED +300 FT. ADVISED APCH CTL. WAS GIVEN LOWER TO 3000 FT TO ENTER CLASS B.
