Narrative:
We departed san luis obispo runway 11 on the avila 2 SID and intercepted and proceeded via the gaviota transition en route to santa barbara, which is our normal routing. Lax ARTCC (approximately 15 southeast of mqo VOR) then asked us to verify we were on the morro bay transition. I replied, 'negative, we're on the gaviota transition.' center then cleared us direct gaviota. Nothing further was said but this is when the first officer, who was flying the leg from sbp to sba, informed me that our clearance, which he had received on the ground, was the avila 2 with a morro bay transition. It was not properly noted on the clearance card. This misunderstanding should have been avoided and could have been avoided with a more thorough review of the clearance on the ground. I'm not sure why the first officer did not catch this as well. He received the clearance while I performed other duties on the ground. Factors that contributed to this error were hazardous WX circuit breaker. In the area level 3 on WX radar which were avoided and had also caused us to be running behind schedule, which had put us in the rush mode. We were in the middle of a 7 leg day with 15 min turns 'scheduled.' the key is to forget the schedule and slow down to a safer pace, however, our airline environment pushes us to stay on time, so it's easy to get in the rush mode. I feel that it would be better for safety if our schedules were regulated to have at least 25 mins between flts so that pilots could at least catch their breath between flts.

Title: COMMUTER AIRLINE FLC DEPARTED ON THE WRONG ARPT TRANSITION RTE AFTER ACKNOWLEDGING THE ACTUAL RTE GIVEN BY ATC.
Narrative: WE DEPARTED SAN LUIS OBISPO RWY 11 ON THE AVILA 2 SID AND INTERCEPTED AND PROCEEDED VIA THE GAVIOTA TRANSITION ENRTE TO SANTA BARBARA, WHICH IS OUR NORMAL ROUTING. LAX ARTCC (APPROX 15 SE OF MQO VOR) THEN ASKED US TO VERIFY WE WERE ON THE MORRO BAY TRANSITION. I REPLIED, 'NEGATIVE, WE'RE ON THE GAVIOTA TRANSITION.' CTR THEN CLRED US DIRECT GAVIOTA. NOTHING FURTHER WAS SAID BUT THIS IS WHEN THE FO, WHO WAS FLYING THE LEG FROM SBP TO SBA, INFORMED ME THAT OUR CLRNC, WHICH HE HAD RECEIVED ON THE GND, WAS THE AVILA 2 WITH A MORRO BAY TRANSITION. IT WAS NOT PROPERLY NOTED ON THE CLRNC CARD. THIS MISUNDERSTANDING SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED AND COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED WITH A MORE THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE CLRNC ON THE GND. I'M NOT SURE WHY THE FO DID NOT CATCH THIS AS WELL. HE RECEIVED THE CLRNC WHILE I PERFORMED OTHER DUTIES ON THE GND. FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THIS ERROR WERE HAZARDOUS WX CB. I FEEL THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR SAFETY IF OUR SCHEDULES WERE REGULATED TO HAVE AT LEAST 25 MINS BTWN FLTS SO THAT PLTS COULD AT LEAST CATCH THEIR BREATH BTWN FLTS.
