Narrative:

I have built and currently flying this experimental aircraft. All what happened was when I taxied to the end of the runway at alliance my nose gear failed. It was no big deal. The engine is mounted in the back. The next day I replaced the broken part and flew it back home. The FAA office is on this field and they wanted to report this as an accident. It took some time for me to convince him it was an incident. The failure was due to a bracket slipping -- the bracket is now secured.
