Narrative:

On dallas 7 departure in contact with ZFW. Given a climb clearance to 370 and to be out of 350 within 5 mins. We complied easily. Out of 360 for 370, center said to turn left 10 degrees. We complied. Less than 1 min later, center said to turn left 30 degrees and that we had turned right instead of left. Center instructed other traffic to turn left 30 degrees as well. Our crew verified that we turned left both times as instructed and I believe that the controller allowed the conflict to occur due to his error. Copilot visually sighted the traffic off to the right.
